You probably got caught by the spam filter, which is very sensitive at low levels.

It is adviced that you don't use the chat channels until you are level 15 - annoying, but unfortunately necessary to combat the gold sellers.

One sentence can be enough for a ban.

Don't use the chat before level 15, thats the only thing working

GM's reverse the bans when they see them, but unfortunately they are quite busy, so it might take some time.
