Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Oh man...I'm really REALLY liking truewow (primal). Level 10 and no bugs or issues ...no connect problems. As a matter of fact, all of my mac specific issues dont exist there. It's niiiiiice.

It's running on a Wrath client, so for those of you that have to have it hardcore vanilla and nohing else will do, this ain't for you. For those of you that enjoy some quality of life improvements the wrath client brings, want to remain in a PvE setting, and still play vanilla... I HiGHLY recommend this.

I'm stoked that it's going to progress through wrath. I'm set for awhile...unless it gets popular. So some of you come, but not all of you!

I'm seeing there's some traction for character transfer to truewow. It's not entirely clear what form it is going to take though.

We recently merged truewow.org and primalwow.org, which caused some minor problems for the primalwow services (like transfer).

I looked at the reddit post and saw that they had given the wrong link. http://www.truewow.org/transfer is where you want to go.


The problem right now with transfers from how I understood it, is that it's currently only there for truewow, meaning that if you transfer on the link above you will end up with a character on the TrueWoW realm.

We had a statement from an admin that they will do their best to enable it within a few days, which I hope is sooner than next week. The more noise you from Nostalrius make (i.e. more players post in this thread), the quicker they will be to solve this (speaking from experience).

Ah yes! you can request to transfer one character to Truewow. If ya want to play PvE vanilla this is the way to go for now. as described in this thread i the button I did not see to submit your application.

Some of us are going to give other games a try. We met each other in this game and we had great time together, and we will continue to have a game time together regardless of what games we play.

My advice, stick with each other even if the server is shut down. Meetings like these are hard to come by.

<Against All Odds> started on Vengeance, a Burning Crusade progression server that is on Karazhan at the moment. There are other guilds from Nostalrius as well. Looks good so far, we are trying it out .
