why not make a second and third pvp server then. the solutions you are giving are controversial and not vanila blizzlike. ive been playing on this server since it opened up. 4k population was perfect for gameplay

Sure, that works too. It was a hypothetical. I'm not saying that is what Nost would do.

Making multiple realms has cons too. It splits up the playerbase, reduces guild sizes, reduces the populations of zones that aren't overpopulated, reduces AH volume, reduces instance/dungeon group pools and etc.

There is no perfect solution. Can't change the zones, can't change the content and neither solution for managing the overpopulation of zones will be without cons.
