This doesn't work with AOE spells (so no frost nova, blizzards, etc). This only reflects directed spells.

And to answer questions...

This is how these work. Any spell that is a single target spell hitting you will bounce back to the caster. That means frostbolt, frost shock, Icy enchants, and hunter's freezing traps (for example).

Anything that is a frost AoE will not bounce back, but you will be immune. This means frost nova, Cone of Cold, Blizzard, etc. So if a mage frost novas while i have this active, I will be immune, but it won't root the mage. However, if he frostbolts me, it will bounce off of me, hit him, damage him, and snare him.

if you bother to read all the replies, its said multiple times that it dosnt reflect AoE spells...

Be aware that this item does NOT reflect *incoming* spells that are already cast once you use the trinket. It only affects spells cast after the reflect buff is active. Like other trinkets, this doesn't reflectt AOE attacks (well, aside from the +FR). Only damage-dealing spells are reflected, you are hoever immune to other non-damage spells (but they are NOT reflected).

Still a nice trinket when a mage (or three) try to gank you with omfgwtffireballs.

The AoE reflection was fixed on Nostalrius btw. They made a mistake by making it possible at the begining, and corrected it at some point.

Regarding the Triggered Effect reflection, I don't understand the patch 1.10 as saying it was impossible from then on. The emphasis is put on separately and its position in the sentence means to me that there was 2 checks before 1.10, treating those spells separately, while there is only one after 1.10.
Like for the Wards having a x% chance to reflect a spell (or the ZG potion), like after 1.10 you can't reflect a Fireball but still get the Impact on yourself or vice versa.

I am not a native english speaker ans haven't done any research on the matter, this is just what the wording of the 1.10 patch suggests to me.
