I'd rather start fresh than play my old characters, it's been too long. But I know some would want to pick up where they left off.

Whats the reason for a fresh start? People who were ahead of you, probably will be ahead of you again because they invest more time, have more help or better players. A fresh start would slow everything down, no people for recepies, no one would be there to mobtag for you and raiding would take longer for no reason at all.

They should make both tbh.

People who invested so much into their chars already shouldn't be punished just because Blizzard got the server shut down. Having them start over is just shitting on them.
At the same time a lot of people would probably lose motivation if they have to level/gear up in an environment where the top guilds are already set and don't wanna do lower content.

I don't see why Nost wouldn't open both the old and a fresh realm, since the publicity they have gotten would ensure max pops on both probably.

Meh bwl progression is not a big deal I had 3 60s also. But I guess some people must be newer to raiding and were proud. Also I will never play a pve server
