Having actively played on Emerald Dream-US, which houses a heavy chunk of WPvPers and having off-realmers hit our forums asking about it and getting WPvP guild transfers...yeah, I think I have a good idea about it. Same phenomena with The Venture Co-US until the server cratered.

Ha ha, true for a period but not anymore. With Blizzard's sharding technology, if one faction hits a location and the other faction comes to defend, they often get put into different shards and no fight can happen.

Blizzard has effectively killed WPvP in Legion because they don't want to put a population cap on servers due to the WoD launch fiasco.
