The item was not found. Hunter leaf quest

Combining Ancient rune etched stave with the enchanted black dragon sinew. comes up with The item was not found, when I right click use.

Not sure what the problem is. was this a PvP server issue and carryed over to the PvE one ?

Try abandoning the quest and reaccepting it.

I have completed the quest already though.

After you complete the quest you receive the stave but when I try use it, it prompts me with an error ( This Item was not found )
