A second server is a nice idea in theory. But would you migrate there on a one-way ticket? Uncertain of it's future and popularity, when the main server is "where's it at". I'm betting, that very few would so voluntarily. If everyone already here would be entitled to stay here, that's still 7-8-9K players and it wouldn't change a thing. In short; it's to late for that.
